Gift Vouchers
  • Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the issue date. The gift voucher cannot be exchanged for cash and is not returnable or transferable.
  • Expired gift vouchers cannot be used without exception. We advise you to book at least one month in advance to ensure an appointment before your gift voucher expires.
  • If any product purchased with a gift voucher is returned for an exchange or refund any money will automatically be refunded as a gift voucher.
  • Gift vouchers should be treated like cash. They cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Gift vouchers which are defaced, altered or cancelled will not be accepted.
  • Any valid gift voucher that is for an amount can be used against any treatment, package or product.
  • We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions at any time.
  • Prices can change without prior notice.
Appointments and cancellations

We request 24 hours’ notice to cancel appointments or a 50% cancellation fee may occur. This also applies for non-arrivals.

Please try and arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment to allow time to relax and unwind. Clients that arrive late may only receive the remaining time of their appointment or may have to re-book.

Children policy in The Salon

We love children… some of us even have a few! However, we ask that you make child care arrangements and not bring your children with you to your appointment. Many guests look forward to their salon experience as personal pampering time. Even the best-behaved children are subject to elements of danger in the salon environment (nail varnish remover, hot wax, glass shelves, etc.) therefore our insurers prevent us from welcoming children. Please respect this policy and accept our appreciation for your understanding.

 

Age of consent policy

Here at The Salon, our clients well-being and safety are of upmost importance to us, including our younger clients. Any client under the age of 16 will need to attend the appointment with a consenting parent or guardian.

Treatments we do not offer to under 16s include:

  • Intimate waxing
  • Biab nails
  • Microdermabrasion
  • Medik8 chemical peels
  • Hot stone massage
  • Massage
  • Inidan head massage

Here at the Salon, we have a strict patch test policy in place prior to certain treatments we carry out to ensure clients safety and offer the best service we can.

We must advice that no reaction to a patch test is still not a guarantee that a reaction will not occur during or after the treatment

Patch testing must be carried out a minimum of 48 hours prior to the treatment. Any patch tests carried out at other establishments are not valid as they may use a different brand to ourselves. We cannot accept disclaimers or waivers in place of a patch test.

We carry out patch tests for any tinting (including GDL lash lifts), Henna Brows and BrowLlamination. It is not mandatory to be patch tested for eyelash extensions, however we offer patch testing should you wish to.

  • If a reaction should occur within 48 hours, this could be in the form of redness, itching, swelling or similar, immediately remove your patch test with water and seek advice from a GP or pharmacist. Even if only a slight reaction occurs, we will not be able to carry out the tinting treatment.
  • You must not remove or wash off the patch test before your therapist has advised (unless a reaction occurs).
  • Please be aware that if you are taking medications such as antihistamines, they can mask a reaction during the patch test but may not be strong enough to counter a full reaction during or after the treatment
